Are accounts free? How do I sign up?
Yes, accounts are completely free! You can sign up by clicking the Sign Up link. On the signup page, you can enter the username you wish to use, a password, and your email address. A confirmation email will be sent to you, and after you click on the link in the email you receive, your account will be activated and you can log in to set up your profile!
How do I prevent my email address from being displayed on the site?
Your email address will never be shown on the web site, unless you specifically enter it into the Your interests box in your profile. However, the people you send a message to will see your email address. See the next question for details.
How will my personal information be used? Will my email address be sold or added to any mailing lists?
Your personal information, including your email address, will not be sold to third parties. It also will not be shared with third parties, except for the information you post in your profile. Information you post in your profile will be visible to others as defined by the Visibility setting, which you can change by editing your profile. Your email address will not be shared with any third parties, except for those you message through LetMeKissYou.com. The messaging system will reveal your email address to the person you email, so that they may respond to you. In addition, LetMeKissYou.com may occasionally send out an email to its members with news about the web site that we feel is important. This will most likely be a rare event.
Why isn't my profile showing up when I browse the profiles?
When an account is first created, it is set to private mode. This is so you can enter your information before making it visible to others. When you edit your profile, you can change the Visibility setting to either private (only visible to you), registered (only visible to other members of LetMeKissYou.com), or public (visible to anyone who visits LetMeKissYou.com).
How large can my image be?
The image you upload must be under 50k. In addition, images larger than 225 x 225 pixels will be resized.
How do I enter a birthdate?
When you are editing your profile, you must enter the birthdate in the following format: YYYY-MM-DD. You may leave any part of it as zero, but they must be included. For example, if you want to show your birth day and month but not the year, you can enter something like 0000-05-26.
Why am I not receiving any of the messages sent to me?
If you are not receiving messages that other people are sending you, your email program may be filtering it out or marking it as spam. Check your spam folders and, if possible, mark the messages as not spam.
I encountered a problem with the web site. How can I report the bug?
Please visit the Contact Us page to report the bug. Include as much information as you can -- which page you were on, what you were trying to do, any error messages that were displayed, and the web browser and operating system you were using. We will work to fix the bug as quickly as possible!

The site doesn't look right. The layout/colors/fonts are screwed up. What is going on?
Most of LetMeKissYou.com uses a CSS-based layout. Some web browsers (especially older ones) may not be able to display the site correctly. Most modern web browsers should be fine. We recommend Firefox -- it's free!
